Katy Perry and John Mayer's heated relationship may have cooled off. The "Who You Love" duo has reportedly called it quits — again.

The break-up happened "within the last few days," a source close to the couple told E! News, but gave no other details.

On the heels of Perry, 29, wearing a huge diamond ring last week, fueling rumors that an "inevitable" proposal from Mayer, 36, had already happened, the "Dark Horse" singer has been traveling solo for the past few days.

The pop star has made several recent appearances in London, Milan, and Los Angeles — including at the Miley Cyrus concert where she kissed the "Wrecking Ball" singer — without her rocker boyfriend.
Mayer has been less visible and instead more present on Twitter, posting photos from his recent recording sessions and engaging with fans.

After wearing a diamond sparkler on her left hand for the second time since Valentine's Day, the last time the couple were seen together, a source told Us Weekly that the rumors about an engagement were "not true."

Mayer and Perry have been on-and-off since the summer of 2012 —but had been going steady since March of last year.

The "Wide Awake" singer has talked openly on several occasions about how the "Face to Call Home" crooner has helped her get over the divorce from ex-husband Russell Brand.
