(CNN) Moderna, the main organization to dispatch huge scope clinical preliminaries for a coronavirus immunization, has selected minorities at levels multiple occasions lower than those mentioned by Dr. Anthony Fauci, the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
The preliminaries could be postponed if Moderna doesn't enlist adequate quantities of minorities to go along with them.
Moderna is intending to enlist 30,000 volunteers into its Phase 3 preliminary, and in a tweet Friday evening uncovered that 18% of the 13,194 volunteers enrolled so far have been minorities, which the organization said included "Dark or African American, Latinx, American Indian and Alaskan Native."
