Who says exes can't stay friendly?
Hilary Duff, 26, and her
estranged husband, Mike Comrie, were all smiles as they headed to
breakfast with their son, Luca, 21 months, at Nate 'n Al's Delicatessen
in Beverly Hills on Saturday.
The rainy day couldn't even get
the pair down as they strolled around town carrying a couple of coffees.
For their day out, the former Disney darling looked casual in a white
blouse, a scarf, jeans and sneakers. Comrie, 33, looked equally
comfortable spending time with his ex and donned jeans and a T-shirt.
Little Luca matched his mommy with a pair of sneakers.
The duo, who announced their separation in January
after three years of marriage, have quickly become the poster couple
for a healthy split. When they initially called it quits, they vowed to
remain friends for their son and released a statement about their
intentions.
"Hilary Duff and husband Mike
Comrie have mutually decided to an amicable separation," their statement
read. "They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other's
lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son,
and ask for privacy at this time."
It looks like they're sticking to that plan and have spent plenty of quality time together prior to Saturday's outing.
On Valentine's Day, they took
their son on a vacation to an unspecified tropical locale. Duff snapped a
photo of their family and captioned it, "#modernfamily #vacation
#juicypear."
