Holy Batman Rumors Batman
With all the outlandish rumors flying around the internet about the next possible Batman motion picture, its tough to distinguish any of the truth from any of the fiction. Fans are so stoked to see a sequel to The Dark Knight, which starred Christian Bale and Heath Ledger, that they have began the internet hype. making up stories or rumors, some based on truth and some just completely made up.
With all this propaganda and the high hope for a third Nolan Batman, its only fitting that there will be a ton of speculation. Remember, The Dark Knight was a huge success with a massive batman fan base. So don't expect the buildup to stop until the movie is realeased. Just in case you haven't been around, heres some of the best of the bunch.
Megan Fox and Cher have now been named possible contenders for the role of Catwoman. Again this is just another rumor. Megan Fox as Catwoman, please. First off, there most likely won't be a Catwoman in the next film and if there is, Angelina Jolie, "who has also been rumored to star in the next one", would fit the suit much better.
In an Interview with Michael Caine, he said that the Riddler would be played by Johnny Depp. This rumor although could possibly end up being true someday, was pretty much taken out of context. How can Johnny Depp play a character that hasn't even been written into the movie. In fact at the time, there wasn't even anyone working on the script.
The Next Batman Film will be entirely in IMAX. This rumor is floating around and has a little pull. It's doubtful that the entire movie will be shot that way, but Nolan has mentioned that he intends on getting more IMAX cameras. This could probably mean at least some more big scenes shot that way. Maybe we could get a bigger taste, but the reality is that to shoot the whole movie this way would blow the budget out of the water.
