Bridgit Mendler is just a sixteen year old girl at the moment,
but she is soon set to be turned into a superstar. Celebrity
commentators such as Perez Hilton have already crowned her as the latest
massive Disney star. Despite this, few people know who she is. So who
exactly is she and why is she making Miley Cyrus so worried?
Bridgit was raised on the east coast and only really took an interest in acting when she moved west. After acting in a few minor roles, it was in the last year that her career took off. Starring in movies such as "The Clique" and "Labor Pains", Bridgit was noticed by Disney who realized that she could have what it takes to the next big thing. To test her out, they invited her to play a guest role in the series "JONAS". Fans enjoyed her appearance so much that she was subsequently asked to come back to play a vampire for four episodes in "Wizards of Waverly Place". Filming had barely even started when Disney decided that Bridgit should get her own show, and it was announced in mid-July 2009 that she would be the principal actor in a new show called "Good Luck Charlie".
