career from TV serials and has shot to stardom as an actor and today is a
film producer, as well as a popular television host. Shah Rukh has been
popularly referred to as "The King of Bollywood," or simply, "The King
Khan." In 2005, he was awarded the Padma Shri for his valuable
contributions to Indian Cinema by the Government of India.
