King of Hindi Cinema - Shah Rukh Khan

The on-screen charisma of movie actors has inspired a lot of common people to be stars. They might have even tried a lot of times to enter Bollywood. Without doubt Shah Rukh Khan is one such superstar, who rules the Indian film industry.

Because of his hard work and acting talent only, he could make it big in Bollywood. He started off in television as an actor in many serials like Fauji, Circus, Dil Dariya, Doosra Keval and several more. He had been a member of Theatre Action Group, where he worked with director Barry John. He fine-tuned acting skills learned here, in the serials. Deewana was his debut film as an actor, which got released in 1990. Deewana fetched him Filmfare Best Male Debutante Award in industry. The film was also a success of the year. The next year was also great for his career as his movies met with success one after the other. It 1993, he received the award for Best Actor (Baazigar) and Best Villain Award for the portrayal of negative role in Darr.
He has to be given the credit for choosing different roles in each film. He portrayed a negative character in the movie Anjaam but played a role of a son in Karan Arjun. He portrays the character of a happy-go-lucky person in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (DDLJ), who at last takes on all challenges to get his lover. For Anjaam, he got the best villain award and for DDLJ he got the trophy for best actor.
Yes Boss, Dil To Pagal Hai, Dil Se, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Pardes, Duplicate, Veer-Zaara, Main Hoon Na, Swades, Paheli, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Chak De India and Don- The Chase Begins Again, are only a few films in the long of over 100 films he has done.
He is cordial in nature and is friendly to all his co-stars (male and female), technicians, film producers and directors. People have appreciated his talent as an anchor and as a producer. With thirteen Filmfare awards and a Padma Shri from Indian Government, Shah Rukh Khan is a superstar in its true sense.
