Shooting in Rajasthan recently turned out to be a memorable experience for Sonakshi Sinha. The actor was filming scenes for her upcoming film, Tevar, in the Sambhar district of the state, where she spent time bonding with the locals and understanding their culture. An insider from the
sets of the film, which also stars Arjun Kapoor, says, “Sonakshi spent time with the ladies in the area, trying Besan Chakki, Dal Baati, Ghevar and other local specialties.” The actor would spend most of her free time with the locals, chatting with them and learning about their lives.

“Whenever she shoots at any outdoor location, she makes it a point to learn about the people and their traditions. In Sambhar, she spoke to the ladies for quite some time. She even dressed up like them and had a picture clicked together,” adds the insider.

Witnesses from the crew believe that her bonding with the locals plays a big factor in her being able to adapt to her characters.
