We see you, Jelena! Justin Bieber may have surprised festivalgoers over the weekend at Coachella when he performed on stage with friend Chance The Rapper, but the 20-year-old was less below-the-radar with on-again, off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez.
The singer, who joined Chance on stage on Sunday, April 13, surprising the crowd at the Indio, Calif. music festival with a performance of "Confident", was caught getting cozy with Gomez, an eyewitness tells Us Weekly.
The source tells Us right before Bieber's performance, the duo were spotted holding hands and walking through an all-access area where "they both had on sunglasses and had their heads down like they didn't want to be noticed."
"Justin took the lead and was escorting Selena through the all-access area," the eyewitness adds.
Bieber, who donned a white bucket hat, bandana scarf and black T-shirt, continued to make his way through the music festival with his ex close by his side. The duo then made their way to Calvin Harris' performance later that night, where they got extra close and slow danced yet again, this time surrounded by four bodyguards.
An eyewitness reveals "they were dancing slow right next to each other, swaying around," and although they "didn't kiss" the pair "were whispering to each other, laughing, [and] standing close together … surrounded by four bodyguards backstage."
The eyewitness adds the duo attempted to not be photographed together after their 20 minute dance party and walked away separately.
Although Bieber clearly enjoyed Gomez's company, Bieber's rep confirms to Us he was at Coachella not for Gomez but to support Jhene Aiko; he was also joined by members of his team.
