A severe allergic reaction to antibiotics has forced Miley Cyrus to postpone the remaining U.S. dates on her Bangerz tour until August.
According to a statement on the
21-year-old pop star's website, Cyrus “is continuing to recover from the
severe allergic reaction she suffered on April 15.”
“Existing tickets will be honored
on the new dates, which include previously cancelled and postponed
dates,” the statement promises. “Additionally, two tour dates have been
added in Pittsburgh and Chicago. The European leg of the tour will
proceed as planned.”
Cyrus was forced to cancel a show
in Kansas City on Tuesday after she was hospitalized due to the
allergic reaction, and subsequently cancelled concerts in St. Louis,
Louisville and Nashville this week.
