The year 2008 looks even more impressive for Akshay Kumar(if you forgive Tashan): Singh is Kinng, Chandni Chowk to China, Blue(the costliest Bollywood film ever), Kambaqth Ishq(which has Sylvester Stallone in guest appearance), 8x10(inspired by the sixth sense). So with such a terrific line-up of movies and an impressive record, is Akshay Kumar the number one actor of Bollywood?
Hrithik Roshan: Hrithik Roshan debuted in Kaho Na Pyaar Hain in the year 2000 and won numerous best actor awards for the film. The movie also became the biggest hit of 2000. Hrithik Roshan again won the best actor award and best critics award for Koi Mil Gaya in 2003 and the movie became the biggest hit of 2003. Hrithik Roshan again won the best actor award for Dhoom 2 and the movie became the biggest grosser of 2007. So in a way Hrithik's best becomes the movie's biggest achievement also. This year in 2008, Hrithik Roshan gave a classy performance which many think is his best in Jodhaa Akbar. So Hrithik Roshan last film is also a superhit. He is indeed Mr. Versatile and we are not talking about Aamir Khan's acting alone, we are talking about his roles as a screenplay writer(Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke), Director(Taare Zameen Par) and producer( Lagaan, Taare Zameen Par and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na). Needless to say, Aamir Khan's last film Taare Zameen Par is what people believe simply a landmark film that showed his brilliant side as a director too. So is Aamir Khan, the number one Bollywood actor?
