Beyoncé and January Jones may have some serious cash in the bank and
every high-end designer knocking at their doors and wanting to dress
them, but that didn't stop them from sporting a black-and-white striped,
satin A-line dress from Topshop that cost $140.

Queen B donned the budget-friendly frock in London while she was out on the town with her hubby, Jay Z. The "Partition" singer paired the look with a pair of simple, black, closed-toed pointy heels. The bombshell let her long, wavy blond locks down and went more natural with her makeup, choosing a light pink lipstick.
January took the affordable dress out in Hollywood on Thursday night
for the 2nd Annual Rebels with a Cause Gala. The "Mad Men" star opted
for black, strappy open-toe heels and a silver metallic clutch to
complete the look. And unlike Beyoncé, the blond beauty channeled her
inner 1940s vixen with a bold red lip.
TV host and style expert Lloyd Boston helped us determine who won this fashion face-off, and it was a close one, folks.
"January wins this style-off — but only by a hair," he explained. "Horizontal stripes can be very tricky to pull off, as they follow the curves of the body and spotlight a woman's frame. If you are very curvy, they can graphically highlight areas in distracting ways."
Lloyd added, "In this particular photo, Beyoncé's killer curves make
the black-and-white stripes work a little harder than they should,
giving it more of a nightclub feel — which this dress was probably not
designed for. January's lean frame is a better fit for this particular
dress, as it reads a bit more stately and crisp, having no pronounced
curves to work against."
