Hot Celebrities Gossip : There's a Reason Why Full House's Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky Never Became a Real-Life Couple

For anyone who grew up in the late eighties and early nineties, Full House was the source of a lot of life lessons set to emotional music, and of course, the idea of the perfect, most beautiful grown up couple: Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky.

Fans everywhere secretly hoped these two would be a real-life love match and possibly produce genetically blessed, magnificently-haired little mini-Rippers, but it never happened. Last year, John Stamos fueled the fire by calling Lori Loughlin "the one that got away," and in a recent chat with Yahoo's Daily Shot, she's responded to his flattery with an explanation as to why the two never ended up together. "I was married at the time I was doing the show to my first husband. Right as I was getting divorced, he met Rebecca." (He was married to Rebecca Romijn from 1998-2005). In 1997, Lori married her husband of seventeen years now, Mossimo Giannulli, so things turned out pretty great for her. But it's clear the two both thought about it, and though timing may have kept them apart, she freely admits he was the hottest member of the cast. (I mean, duh.)

Have you ever had a guy that you thought you might have ended up with if bad timing hadn't gotten in the way? I've told you before that I kind of think that's just an excuse, and that if it's the right guy, you'll make it the right time. I even confirmed my own theory a while back when I finally went out with a guy I'd had a crush on for years of bad timing. The "good timing" lasted for about one day and then we never spoke again. So much for that! My point is, maybe these two were just better as really good friends--and impossibly cute TV spouses.

Do you have a one that got away because of timing? And hey, who wants to go watch Full House reruns for the rest of the afternoon? Uncle Jesse Forever!
