become famous celebrities while others remain the Joneses - "regular"
people with no star power? The biggest difference between a regular
person and a celeb would be that the celeb is able to effortlessly
attract attention to him. On the other hand, it can also be described as
the regular person being content with staying away from the limelight.
Some people say that celebs are better looking, highly gifted and talented, smarter and generally look after themselves. But don't we all? How many of us go to the gym every day, take time to look after our skin and health and are talented but do not have the cameras flashing at everything we do? This could make us conclude that celebrities are regular people who we just give extra attention yet they have nothing special.
In the shoes of celebrities, it is believed that they crave some privacy and to lead "normal" lives. Beyonce cannot take her newborn baby for a stroll in the park because she will be all over the news for that. Virtually every regular mother does that, though! The difference is that Beyonce is under a microscope. Everything she does for her daughter will be judged on a different scale than Mrs. Jones.Due to the publicity celebrities get, they have major security concerns. Britney Spears once took legal action against a tabloid cameraman for intruding on her privacy. The cheeky chap climbed a tree just so he could capture images of Britney taking a swim in her pool, within her property. What if this was a stalker? Regular people cannot keep up with this pressure yet we expect celebrities to graciously take it all in.
Although we all lead normal lives, the difference between regular people and celebs is that we are judged differently. Celebs are always under a public microscope and do not enjoy the simple pleasures of life that other do. However, some famous people enjoy the attention they get and would do anything to keep on getting it. Flashy cars, fancy clothes and quirky behavior!
