Robin Thicke has hit the stage!
After canceling a string of shows following the news that he and wife Paula Patton have separated, the "Blurred Lines" crooner has returned to his tour and is currently entertaining fans in Fairfax, Va., at the Patriot Center.
But his personal issues are still on the brain, understandably so.
Earlier today, after arriving at the airport in Virginia, Thicke told a TMZ photographer, "I'm just trying to get her back," adding that he's just trying to figure things out.
He posted a thank-you note
to fans on his website, stating, "I want to thank everyone for the well
wishes these last few days. My fans mean everything to me. I'm looking
forward to getting back on out on the road and performing in Washington
DC this Thursday, and the rest of the tour. Looking forward to seeing
everyone out there!"
Meanwhile, the 38-year-old actress is hard at work on her latest film project, Warcraft, in Vancouver.
According to reports, Patton told Thicke on Friday that she wanted to end their marriage, so Thicke flew to Canada in an attempt to save their relationship (and that's reportedly the main reason why the singer canceled his show in Atlanta).
However, his impromptu trip didn't seem to work. The two announced the news on Monday and released the following statement, "We will always love each other and be best friends; however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time."
