Christina Aguilera has announced a Valentine's Day engagement to boyfriend of nearly three years, Matt Rutler. A photo sharing her happy news amply showcases her stunning ring as well.

The "Beautiful" singer announced her engagement to boyfriend of nearly three years, Matt Rutler, on Twitter Friday night.

The Voice host posted a picture of them both holding hands, with Christina showcasing an eye-popping sparkler on her left hand's finger.

"He asked and I said……" she captioned the photo taken before a tropical coastline.

Ironically Christina's Valentine's Day engagement comes exactly three years after finalizing her divorce with music executive Jordan Bratman in 2011, whom she shares a 6-year-old son with. Just as the pair ended their five-year marriage in October, 2010 she met her future husband on the set of the film "Burlesque."

"He's the love of my life, and I adore him," Aguilera proclaimed of Max while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in November 2010.
"He's such a character, and he's so happy and at the end of the day, that's what's most important," she said.
