Celebrity offspring seem to be
making quite the name for themselves in the modeling world. Ireland
Baldwin (daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger), Bria Murphy
(daughter of Eddie Murphy), and Sosie Bacon (daughter of Kevin Bacon and
Kyra Sedgwick) have all struck a pose for the camera, and now Corinne
Foxx can add her name to the list.
Jamie Foxx's daughter made her
modeling debut for the accessory line Icing, and she revealed to People
that the gig isn't as easy as it looks.
"A lot of people think that
modeling is just about looking pretty," she said. "But there is
definitely a lot more thought and work that goes into it."
The 20-year-old model was working
hard on the set when her dad surprised her in the middle of the
interview. Jamie told his daughter, "I love you, keep doing your thang.”
He joked, "We'll talk about the check and the percentages that I get."
And while she may be making a
name for herself, living in the spotlight isn't new for Corinne. She has
been on her dad’s arm to many award shows — most recently at the 2014
Grammy Awards. Back in 2013 the "Django Unchained" star gushed to Kelly
Rowland on the red carpet at the Oscars about his beautiful daughter who
doubled as his date.
"Someone asked me about being
nervous about the Oscars, and I said, 'I'm not nervous anymore. I'm just
excited to show how beautiful my daughter has turned out.'"
And walking the red carpet is
nothing new to Corinne. In fact, the first time she ever went to an
awards show was back in 2005, when her famous pop won the Academy Award
for "Ray." Corinne told People, "My dad has been taking me to red carpet
events since I was 10 years old. … It's funny because my dad and I get
completely star-struck."
