Beat this! Salman Khan’s death-defying stunt for 'Kick'

Imagine this. Palace of Culture and Science: the tallest building (237 metres) in Poland, eighth-tallest in Europe. Salman Khan hangs from the 40th floor of the building, suspended by a superstrong safety cable under the guidance of the experts who know their job better than to risk a superstar’s life.

This was the scene of the shooting of producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s 'Kick' in Warsaw.

We hear that though Salman had the option of using a body double for the stunt, he decided on doing the scene himself. The shoot lasted for about 5 hours and everyone in the crew -- and Salman’s fans on the site -- had their heart in mouth until the 48-year-old superstar returned to the relative safety of the ground.

Kick will have Salman Khan doing stunts never seen in his flicks before. Earlier, he shot his stunts on the rooftops of Old Delhi. And guess what, he was seen riding a bike on the rooftops.

Salman Khan has been shooting for the climax of 'Kick' in Poland for many days now. Leading lady Jaqueline Fernandez too is there filming with him.

'Kick' is an official remake of the 2009 Telugu film of the same name. Salman plays a character who wants a kick out of everything he does in life. Randeep Hooda plays his rival in love. The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mithun Chakraborty.

Sajid Nadiadwala makes his directorial debut with this film.
