The hand-crafted heels, courtesy of ethical fashion brand Beyond Skin, are becoming increasingly popular among Hollywood stars.
Mimi Bekhechi, PETA's Associate Director, said: 'As Olga Kurylenko's fabulous Oscars look proves, thanks to shoes like Beyond Skin's, it's easier than ever to find high-quality high fashion that doesn't come at the cost of any animal's life.'
Olga paired her footwear with a stunning red gown also curated from sustainable materials and designed by Suzy Amis Cameron in conjunction with the Red Carpet Green Dress campaign, which brings one winning designer's environmentally friendly creation to life annually.
According to Hollywood Reporter, Olga said: 'I really admire what Suzy does, and it's important to bring awareness to the fact that we need to be more green. We don't lose quality or beauty. It just takes a bit of thought.'
