Mattis Will Visit to Afghanistan
US Defense Secretary Jim Mattis arrived in Kabul on Friday for an unannounced visit to war-torn Afghanistan, adding his weight to a whirlwind of political endeavors to convey the Taliban to the arranging table.
His trek comes somewhat more than a year after President Donald Trump disclosed a patched up technique for Afghanistan that saw him submit a large number of extra US powers to the nation on an open-finished premise.
